This position performs a wide variety of production and/or experimental modification assembly operations on all parts of the aircraft. Makes necessary layouts, fabricates and fits component parts; installs, fits , and adjusts all types of parts and assemblies where difficult and diversified installations, alignments or adjustments are necessary; makes difficult repairs and alterations per design changes, removing the required parts and making replacements. The incumbent may be required to work from blueprints or projects sketches and templates without the use of jigs or fixtures and should be able to perform a majority of the assembly operations on all parts of the aircraft as well as required fixture and bench assembly operations.
Can work to crew loads and follow written and verbal work instructions. Required to perform scheduled/unscheduled inspections.
Position Requirements: 4
years of Flight Line experience which includes servicing aircraft, towing aircraft, working on major components, performing pre and post flight inspections, etc.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Information: 2nd Shift 3:30pm-Midnight, Monday - Friday
