Become an Integral part of the CNGS Project Management Office. Perform a Task Order Monitor (TOM) and Chief Pilot functions: responsible for project oversight and operational management of an MI-17 flight operation in Kabul, Afghanistan; responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of task orders issued under large ID/IQ contract with a ceiling value of approximately $15B. Candidate will be responsible for managing a large and diverse team of subcontractors and vendors in initiating, approving and executing task orders supporting government customers engaged in Counter-Narcoterrorism initiatives. Responsible for planning, coordinating and directing aviation program activities. In addition, the candidate will perform flight duties as an MI-17 Instructor Pilot to support the flight operations of this task order and monitor sub-contract performance. The candidate establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules. Identifies program risk and develops risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:
Senior-level project manager with a minimum 15 years of total management experience and experience as a military Instructor Pilot.

Pilot qualifications include: Must be a FAA CFI or graduate from military instructor pilot course, minimum 2500 flight hours, PIC lead status, recent combat experience. Mi -17 Helicopter experience preferred but not required for candidates that otherwise meet position requirements. Candidate will understand the U.S. Army Aircrew Training Manual methods of training and the tactics, techniques, and procedures utilized by U.S. Army Units.

Candidate will have experience utilizing multi-functional teams executing contracts with DoD and federal agencies.

Candidate must have significant subcontract management experience.

Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Criminal Justice, or other technical degree is preferred.

Experience with contracts supporting the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Justice, Law Enforcement, or Special Operations community is a plus.

Candidate must have superior communications and organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to develop outstanding customer rapport.

Must be a US citizen with an active SECRET clearance and the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance.
