Job Description: This position is responsible for designing, coding and testing of secure web application software. Candidates must enjoy working with web services; large data solutions; and cutting edge technologies. Candidates will contribute to sponsored research projects and have an opportunity to interact with other scientists and engineers. Education: BS Science, Technology, Engineering or Math Curriculum required. MS Science, Technology, Engineering or Math Curriculum desired.
Experience: 4 to 6 years working on DoD software development projects with emphasize on web services and developing analytics and visualization solutions for large data sets
Preferred skills include: Knowledge of Navy network operations and cyber environments; Ozone Widget Framework (OWF) experience; RDBMS experience; Red Hat Enterprise Linux expertise. Familiarity with Accumulo; Hadoop; Zookeeper; and MapReduce a plus.
Other: Candidate must be a US citizen capable of holding a Top Secret DoD Security clearance. A minimum active secret clearance is required.
