ROLE of the POSITION
The UNLV Department of Foreign Languages invites applications for a full-time, renewable
Lecturer position in Italian to begin August 2013 to coordinate and supervise undergraduate language program Successful applicant will teach
Italian language and culture at all undergraduate levels, as well as Latin and Greek courses at the undergraduate level based on department
Experience in coordinating undergraduate language program and supervising part-time instructors required.
Must be able to teach Italian language and culture at all undergraduate levels, as well as Latin and Greek courses at the undergraduate
level based on department needs.
The successful applicant must have at least a near-native command in Italian and English as well as
knowledge of Latin and Greek. An M.A. or equivalent from a regionally accredited college or university required.
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
