Go Jet Airlines is currently seeking Flight Attendants in the Chicago, IL market.
GoJet is a St. Louis-based regional all-jet airline operating as United Express. GoJet Airlines is proud to be partnered with United Airlines, one of the largest airlines in the world. GoJet's fleet consists of the 66-seat Bombardier CRJ700 aircraft, which features three classes of service.
Flight Attendant Responsibilities:
With GoJet, the flight attendant's primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and comfort of our customers. Since flight attendants have such extensive contact with our customers and create the impression of our company, the position is a valued one.
Flight Attendant Qualifications:
Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and have a professional and conservative appearance. They also must have the ability to perform physical activities such as lifting luggage, be able to be on a flight within an hour of being called and have flown at least once as a passenger.
Flight Attendant Requirements:
Applicants must have the legal right to accept employment in the U.S.
Must be at least 19 years old
High School graduate or GED
60 Height - Weight proportionate
No visible tattoos
Live within 1 ½ hours of the Chicago OHare Airport
All applicants must undergo 10 yr. FAA background check and pre employment drug screen.

GoJet Flight Attendant Training:
Those selected for employment must successfully complete a paid training program at our Training Center in St. Louis, MO. Training includes classroom work, homework and training flights. This may require some training on the weekends.
Training includes aircraft familiarization, city codes, regulatory announcements, beverage service, emergency procedures, first aid, etc. Progress in learning is evaluated by written and practical examination. A minimum passing score of 80% must be maintained throughout the entire training session.
Flight attendants will be awarded a schedule according to seniority and must be able to work any shift, any day, or any hour. Overnights are required and may be multiple days in length. Scheduled minimum nine days off per month. Schedules are bid one to three months in advance.
As a Flight Attendant with Go Jet, uniforms are required to be worn while on duty and will be ordered during training. The flight attendant is responsible for 50% of the uniform cost, if remain employed with GoJet for one year. Uniform expenses may be payroll deducted. If employment is less than one year, 100% of the uniform cost will be the flight attendants responsibility.
