The Administrative Manager (AM) reports to the Complex Director with dual reporting to the Market Administrative Manager. The AM is a member of the Branch Leadership Team, along with the Client Relationship Manager. The AM supports the Firm's business objectives and contributes to the Complex's profitability by influencing FA business practices in ways that minimize regulatory and financial risk as well as uphold the Firms' reputation. Ultimately, the AM protects the Firm, grows the business and serves the client by proactively managing and mitigating risk.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing daily trading activity for trends and inconsistencies
  • Ensuring that client investment strategies are suitable for their current needs and risk tolerance
  • Facilitating compliance training and tracking Firm element and mandated training
  • Ensuring that FAs are properly licensed to conduct business
  • Leveraging centralized utilities for process improvement

Qualifications

Required Skills:
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory issues

Strong auditing background with willingness to travel

Strong leadership abilities, communication and delegation skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Licenses: Series 7, 8 or 9 &10, 63 & 65 or 66 required
