Ethicon Endo-Surgery, LLC, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Financial Analyst, for the facility located in Guaynabo, PR.
Ethicon Endo-Surgery, LLC develops and markets advanced medical devices for minimally invasive and open surgical procedures. The company focuses on procedure-enabling devices for the interventional diagnosis and treatment of conditions in general and bariatric surgery, gastrointestinal health, gynecology and surgical oncology. Products include: the ENDOPATH® XCEL™ Access System; CONTOUR™ Curved Cutter Stapler; and HARMONIC™ ultrasonic cutting and coagulating surgical devices.
This Financial Analyst will be supporting Ethicon Endo Surgery, LLC's Financial Accounting & Reporting group. Will be responsible for the GL month end closing process, journal entries, account reconciliations and various other corporate reporting requirements. The analyst will be the liaison with the Intercompany Finance contact responsible for validating and supporting the process for affiliate billings, recording of intercompany charges, communication, reconciliation, netting payments application and BRAVO reporting requirements. Responsibilities include business partnering with support departments, expense analysis, and budget preparation. The analyst will be responsible for Sarbanes Oxley documentation and compliance requirements, support of internal and external audits providing relevant data and analysis to support audit conclusions. The ideal candidate will also drive continuous improvements in processes, ensure compliance and assist in ad-hoc analysis as and when required. It requires an individual with a high level of motivation and the ability to perform analysis under tight deadlines.
A minimum of a bachelors degree is required, preferably a major in Accounting or Finance. 2-4 years of finance or related business experience is required. Strong financial analysis skills and a sound accounting background are required. Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer products industries as well as public accounting is preferred. Candidate must be proficient with the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and possess excellent conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with SAP is preferred. The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required. Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
