KEY REQUIREMENTS

You must be a US Citizen.

DUTIES:
Develops software applications using knowledge of techniques, procedures, and processes (i.e. operating system theory, data structures, computer system architecture, software engineering, and computer communications).

Implements complex database solutions to support organizational and customer business strategies.

Collaborates with stakeholders to conceptualize and develop technical objects within an Oracle database environment.

Utilizes Oracle databases to design, develop, deploy, test, and maintain technical objects.

Utilizes Agile/SCRUM development to recommend best direction for achieving customer requirements despite system limitations.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1) Developing and integrating software applications associated with different operating systems in an enterprise environment; 2) Developing and configuring relational databases; 3) Providing direction for non-functional and software requirements; and 4) Managing project expectations through continuous communication with technical personnel.

REQUIREMENTS:
Selectee is required to participate in the Department of Defense direct deposit of pay program.

A secret security clearance is a requirement of this position. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a position offer or removal. If you possess a security clearance, please indicate the level and termination date in your resume.

A 40 hour work week is typical for this position.

Travels 6-10 nights per month.

This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and requires additional education, training and experience. Applicants must meet DAWIA Certification requirements for the Systems Planning Research Development Engineering at Level II within 24 months of appointment. If you possess DAWIA certification please indicate your Certification Level and Career Field information in your resume. Applicants not certified may still apply and be selected for DAWIA positions, but must achieve certification within 24 months of appointment.
