The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and management of technology systems and services, enabling the organization to achieve strategic technology and business objectives. This leader will also manage the vision and direction in regards to all aspects of Information Technology, including networking, security, application development, help desk, telecommunications, systems development, and related areas.
Principle Accountabilities & Deliverables
Partner with executive management to align strategic technology objectives and programs to business objectives by fostering innovation, recommending solutions and strategies, prioritizing IT initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment and management of current and future IT systems across the organization.
Lead overall technology planning by bringing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems as related to the company’s competitive position.
Develop, maintain and ensure performance of a multi-million dollar operating budget.
Develop and document appropriate IT departmental goals, objectives, operating procedures and performance measures by establishing policies and procedures for system development, project management and corporate-wide IT purchasing. Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations and company budgets.
Partner with IT Leadership on the management and oversight of the organization’s IT environment (software, infrastructure, customer support services and business intelligence) to ensure effective, efficient, and secure operation of all technology.
Establish and maintain a high performance team of professionally trained and motivated staff through effective performance management and career-development activities.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Education / Experience
10+ years IT experience within complex, technologically-driven organizations
5-7 years of senior IT leadership experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, Master’s degree preferred
In-depth experience in technology strategy, analysis and planning
Recent experience in a for profit company with revenues of $500 million-$1 billion
Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley, COSO, COBIT Framework, ITIL and Scrum/Agile methodology
Demonstrated ability to apply business and financial acumen while developing and communicating IT strategy
Strong service orientation within and outside the department
Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams
Demonstrated ability to diagnose, analyze, design, implement and evaluate large scale technological solutions with measurable results in a multi-site environment
Solid understanding of how technology can impact business models and drivers
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential
Ability to provide flexible and adaptable work schedules
Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds 5% or less of the workday
Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday
Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, and reason
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday
Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday
Work is performed indoors in a climate controlled environment
