Software Engineering Intern
We are seeking students who are available to work for at least 6 months that are currently enrolled as a full-time student and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. You must also have the permanent right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
The Post-Silicon Functional Validation team develops and executes tests to discover and help resolve functional issues within the processor. This process generates a HUGE volume of diverse data. You will contribute to our Business Intelligence efforts to combine all this data into coherent, useful messages that will help engineers, product owners and divisional managers make accurate business decisions. You will define needs, design Business Intelligence solutions, work with various customers to refine their needs, then develop solutions for our customers. You will also be involved in improving our Business Intelligence engineering processes and methodologies.
You should be pursuing your Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. You should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be available to work for at least 6 months.

The following qualifications would be added advantages:
- 6 months to 1 year experience with SQLserver, TSQL and database technologies is a requirement
- 6 months to 1 year experience with C# or Java is required
- 6 months to 1 year experience with various scripting languages (python, etc.)
- Some web programming skills (Java script, HTML 4 and 5, etc.) highly desirable.
- Have an understanding of SCM processes and procedures
- Proven software design, coding and debugging skills - Good planning skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
