Description: The State University System of Florida Board of Governors is seeking qualified candidates for an Institutional Researcher within the Institutional Research unit of the Office of Academic and Student Affairs. This position requires strong analytical and statistical abilities. Additionally, applicants with strong project management and writing skills will be considered for an Associate Director position.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
•Ph.D. or other terminal degree in higher education, public administration or a related field with 1 year of directly related experience, or a Master’s degree in a higher education, public administration or a related field and a minimum of three years of directly related professional experience;
•Proficient skills using Microsoft Excel and Access;
•Ability to: communicate well in both verbal and written forms concerning academic, administrative, and technical subject matters; work independently, as well as collaboratively; to work with changing and multiple priorities; initiative; and creative problem solving; and, work under pressure and to meet deadlines;
•Applicants must possess strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills;
•References are required.
•Experience in higher education administration and/or academic program planning and analysis is desirable;
•Experience with SAS or SQL is strongly preferred but not required.
The anticipated hiring range is $40,000 to $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
