This position is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure. Lead technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure and related systems. Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, network, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational standards. Assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of Information Systems projects, including the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of systems and application staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. Establish standards and best practices for the Infrastructure Administration team.
Additional Shift Details : Normal business hours Monday through Friday, on call for system outages and occasional nights and weekends for upgrades and maintentance
Education or Formal Training: (Certifications ) Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field or 9+ years previous experience in a computer related field required; CCNA or Linux Professional Certifications or equivalent experience preferred; Application and server virtualization certifications, e.g. Citrix, VMware, preferred.

Required Experience :
Minimum five-years' Redhat or SuSE Linux server experience.
Minimum two-years' experience in the following: Oracle DB Infrastructure (on Linux), Enterprise Backup Systems, System Monitoring, OS Scripting (PERL, PHP, Unix Shell), Networking
Preferred Experience :
Minimum three-years' experience in the following: information security, Windows Server Administration, Enterprise Storage, AIX or Solaris administration, Server Virtualization, Identity Management, Active Directory
