Asset management of all IT department equipment, including, but not limited to: servers, switches, desktop computers, laptop computers, tablets, cell phones, smart phones, docking stations, monitors, desk-side phones, keyboards, mice, printers, etc...
Assist in organizing department events, scheduling and overall planning. Also scheduling of conference rooms, including necessary equipment such as: projectors, screens, conference phones, and laptops and/or desktop computers.
Work in conjunction with outside vendors, concerning management of all printing and plotting supplies and operational status of printing/plotting equipment.
Work in conjunction with site IT departments to correct cell phone account issues and inventory management, including working with several providers, account managers and the account liaison in the corporate office. Maintain detailed records of billing issues, phone distribution, account status, and hardware inventory. Set up, inventory, and deploy new cell phones, smart phones and air cards, to include a walk-through for the customer. Improve upon existing configuration, catered toward site needs and requests and lowering costs.
Work with end users to support the majority of their IT needs and requests, concerning cell phones, smart phones, iPads/tablets, and wireless air cards.
Deliver and install equipment for new offices and new employees/contractors to include, but not limited to: desktop computers, laptop computers, scanners, phones, monitors, docking stations, etc...
Manage ShoreTel (desk-side VOIP phones) accounts by maintaining accurate records of current employees, removal of terminated employees, and regularly assessing ShoreTel needs.
Following through with new user employees to ensure proper equipment has been received, is functional and that their IT equipment needs have been met.
Customer support is of the highest priority.
The preferred candidate will have 1+ year of related experience, be detail oriented and have strong customer service and communication skills in order to work positively with vendors and internal customers. A high school diploma or GED is required. Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
