This position will support Cyber Test and Evaluation. The Cyber T&E Specialist will coordinate vulnerability assessment (Blue Team) support and conduct non technical and technical assessments of DoD networks and information systems in support of overall IA and IOP exercise assessments. The candidate will test, evaluate, and audit IA and CND capabilities of the DoD Global Information Grid with emphasis on Tier II CNDSPs. The candidate will develop and refine IA process models for conducting IA assessments throughout the joint exercise life cycle and support enterprise working groups as coordinated with the government.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of one (1) year of total experience. Relevant knowledge gained through significant practical experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
Experience: Applicants must have experience in distilling and decomposing IA security device requirements and the development of executable test procedures, test plans and reports. At least one (1) year of experience in IA or related area. Must have experience with Department of Defense (DoD) in depth architecture; the capabilities associated with the DoD architecture; IA Controls identified in NIST SP 800-53 and or DoD 8500.2; IA/Computer Network Defense (CND) policies, and procedures DoD Directive O-8530.1 and CJCSM 6510; Credentials mandated by DoD 8570.01M IAT level I or IAM level I; Strong technical writing skills and be thoroughly familiar with the MS-Office Suite (i.e., MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Applicants must have experience in Information Assurance or Test and Evaluation experience preferably in the area of IA Assessments. Computer Network Defense requirements and the development of executable test procedures, test plans and reports. Strong customer support, must have strong technical writing skills and be thoroughly familiar with the MS-Office Suite (i.e., MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the past five years is required.Application Instructions
