Job Description & Qualifications
Position Duties

Lead role in shaping Ford's global workforce planning processes:

* Lead workstream on development and implementation of workforce planning processes and tools
* Create detailed work plan with critical milestones to deliver new processes and tools
* Lead regional representatives to develop processes to meet global Create solutions in "white space" that fit Ford's workforce planning business needs across global regions and functions
* Complete external scanning and benchmarking of trends in the workforce planning and analytics arena
* Prepare and present executive presentations using data and analytics to tell a compelling story
* Lead efforts to identify business requirements and processes for a global workforce planning IT solution
* Lead regional subject matter experts in the development of a Statement of Work detailing Ford's workforce planning processes that will be sent to prospective vendors to submit quotes

Minimum Requirements

The Minimum Requirements for the Workforce Planning Manager position are:

* Bachelor degree required; degree concentration in Quantitative Methods (e.g. Statistics, Econometrics, etc.) and/or Science/Engineering or Psychology would be beneficial
* Master Degree in Business Administration or related fields preferred
* 7-10 years of related experience with workforce planning and analytics in a large, global, manufacturing/engineering organization
* Knowledge of best in class workforce planning techniques and processes
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Strong problem solving and project management skills
* Excellent computer skills including some knowledge of analytics software (e.g. SAS)

Preferred Skills/Experience

The Preferred Skills/Experience for the Workforce Planning Manager position are:

* Master Degree in Business Administration or related fields preferred
* Completion of Certified Workforce Planning courses
* Sophisticated understanding of the analysts’ tool box and a solid understanding of measurement, measurement error, confounding, and the statistical tools for doing the work
* Proven ability to lead others
* Proven facilitation and conflict resolution skills
