SolTech is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and implement dynamic web applications, web services and publishing tools in a deadline-intensive environment. We need a developer who understands modern dynamic web application architecture and we standards who can design applications that are flexible, extensible, robust and high scalable. This is an opportunity to lead and participate in both technical and non-technical discussions in a team environment working in current and new technologies. Position can be Full time or contract with salary commensurate with experience.
Qualifications & Experience
» 5 + years experience
» Expert in Javascript, CSS, HTML5 and AJAX
» Expertise of one or more serverside languages (Java, Python, etc.)
» Highly knowledgeable about modern web development technologies and paradigms
» Strong understanding of full life cycle software development processes including requirements analysis, technical design, scoping and estimating
» Good understanding of social media
» Bachelors degree in Computer Science or technology/engineering
» Highly Desirable
» Experience with high-profile websites
» Knowledge of other languages (PHP, Lua, Ruby, etc.)
» Experience with NoSQL DBs (CouchDB, MongoDB)
» Ability to self-manage and highly motivated to stay current with evolving technologies
