The Business Analyst Intern will assist the team by revising and creating documentation of processes. The Business Analyst Intern will learn about documenting and analyzing operations, work processes, and policies and procedures in order to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Under the oversight of a higher-level professional, this position may perform limited analysis of operations, work processes, policies and procedures in order to improve effectiveness and efficiency. The Business Analyst Intern may assist higher level specialists in data collection and evaluation of work processes and policy effectiveness.
This is a full-time summer internship and will require someone who can work at least 40 hours per week. Start and end dates will be based on availability and business need.

Assist in drafting new or revised policy and procedure documents and training revisions.
Assist in the functional design of automating business processes and work flow analysis
May consult with information technology staff on development of new automated systems, programs and new functionalities:
a. tests new programs;
b. may assist in business application system training, navigation and functionality.
Assist in limited functional design of automating business processes and work flow analysis.
May compile special or statistical reports,
Assist with analyzing data and interpreting results.
Work on special projects as assigned;
Nonessential function: other duties as assigned.
Must be able to communicate professionally for use in business correspondence, report writing and policy/procedure manual development.
Ability to write clear and accurate policies and procedures.
Ability to interact effectively with all customers and employees.
Ability to use project management skills.
Ability to prepare flow charts, graphs, tables and status reports.
Ability to interpret various forms of analytical and technical data used in making decisions.
Good computer skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Must be detailed oriented.
Ability to work effectively in team environment.
Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 60 credit hours with an accredited college or university.
Preference may be given to those pursuing a degree in Communications or Business Administration.
