General Summary:
·

Lead training and organizational change initiatives to support CashForward’s transition to a Scrum-based, distributed team model for software development.

·

Work closely with Change Managers in San Francisco ITS and Richmond IT Application Development to drive key organizational change initiatives.

·

Direct all aspects of training including strategy, design, development, and delivery of high quality programs.

·

Identify improvements to training process and tools, including acting on refinement of existing or development of new processes and tools.

·

Work with Change Managers in Richmond and San Francisco to ensure training and organizational change efforts align with overall project plans.

·

Monitor progress of training and organizational change efforts, and provide status updates and advice to management team as needed.

·

Promote continuous improvement in the performance of all CashForward Phase III staff.

Responsibilities:
·

As part of the overall Change Management strategy for CashForward, develop and deliver an internal training program to facilitate the transition to a Scrum-based, distributed team model for software development.

·

Onboard employees joining the CashForward team, including developing and delivering orientation presentations, assessing training needs of new hires or internal transfers, and arranging for training to be provided as needed.

·

Schedule, lead, and moderate meetings with project managers and other key stakeholders in an effort to obtain information required to develop comprehensive training materials.

·

Incorporate motivating, creative, and interactive training techniques to enhance the training experience.

·

Ensure new training methodologies are incorporated into training approach.

·

Schedule trainings with external vendors as needed.

·

Track and monitor training completion and skill development for all CashForward Phase III team members.

·

Drive key organizational change initiatives in support of the CashForward Change Management strategy.

·

Plan, coordinate, and conduct long- and short-term projects with minimal management supervision.

·

Work with Change Managers to administer surveys and monitor key program performance metrics

·

Report training and organizational change status updates to Change Managers, as well as senior management, while managing expectations of project deliverables.

·

Lead project team members without direct supervisory responsibility to accomplish work streams.

·

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
·

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

·

8+ years related experience in a training capacity

·

Experience as a trainer

·

Proven technical proficiency and knowledge of computer hardware and software, operating systems, browsers, basic Internet navigation, and downloading/installing software

·

Strong leadership, problem solving, analytical and time management skills

·

Demonstrated project management experience

·

Strong communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills; interpersonal skills to include influence and negotiation

·

Solid experience in design, development and implementation of training plans and curriculum.

Desired Skills:
·

Master’s degree

·

Experience with distributed team structures
