The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina is accepting applications for an Outreach & Communications Coordinator for the Citadel's STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Center of Excellence. This position is part-time/20 hours a week, temporary outreach and communications coordinator. This position reports to the Director of the STEM Center. The ideal candidate will be experienced in developing and maintaining websites, creating newsletter, brochures, video content and marketing pieces and will be adept at social media. Responsible for regular written and verbal communications with internal and external partners including K-12 students, teachers, parents, community and education partners and potential sponsors.

Minimum and Additional Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in communications, English, marketing or related field with at least three years of professional experience. Experience in creating interactive online communications desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in non-profit or education settings as well as event planning experience.
