QUALIFICATIONS Education: Two-year Associates Degree in some aspect of institutional foodservice with one year of food preparation experience. -OR- Experience: Three years of institutional foodservice experience with the ability to read & write and follow oral & written instructions. Some mathematics is also required. Licensure: None.

Skills: Ability to cook and bake institutionally from scratch. Interpersonal Skills: Relates well with staff, patients and visitors. Maintains confidentiality. Physical Effort: Medium work level of up to 35 pounds.

Ability to move food, equipment and supplies horizontally and vertically or from place to place. Majority of day is spent standing and moving about. Hours of Work: Variable work hours. Rotation of shifts, weekends and holidays required.

Other: Works under the following conditions: potential exposure to mechanical, chemical, electrical, environmental or infectious hazards.
