Operational accountability for Huber Health Emergency Department on a twenty-four hour a day basis. Accountable for the provision of safe patient care and compliance with department strategic objectives.
--Maintains a family and team oriented unit
-Promotes a culture of excellence in service, quality, patient safety, staff, and physician satisfaction
-Offers opportunity for growth in skills and professional development
-Staff members make decisions that affect positive patient, unit, and organization outcomes through a unit based council
-Masters in nursing or related field preferred
-ENA Certification preferred
-3 years ED experience required
-Minimum of two years in a leadership/management role required
-Demonstrates strong interdisciplinary skills
--Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations and critical analysis skills as evidenced by previous experience
-Relationship and team building skills required
-Strong communciation skills (speaking and listening), excellent organization skills
-Critical thinking, ability to multi-task and prioritization skills are a must
-Engaged in nursing as a profession with accountability and expects the same from others
