control systems on gas and steam turbines
Provide site installation and/or supervision, modifications, commissioning, start-up, and training for turbine control systems
Assist in the development and refinement of installation and commissioning procedures and documentation packages, including capture of as-built
final drawing packages.
field service engineering on a call-out basis
Support ProEnergy Services agreements as they relate to O&M/LTSAs covering control systems and all turbine ancillary systems
- Technical degree in electrical/electronic
engineering (or equivalent industrial experience)
- Turbine control system experience
using Speedtronic Mark V and Mark VI and GE Fanuc PLCs and Cimplicity HMIs
- At site and in factory, have the ability to:
- Create and/or modify application software packages
- Perform wiring checks, mechanical checks, loop and ground checks, control loop tuning and end-device calibration, as well as verification of all safety devices and interlocks
- Commission complicated control systems
- Considerable international and domestic travel is required
- Spanish or other language skills preferred
- International work experience preferred
- Woodward, Allen-Bradley PLC, Fanuc PLC, Siemens’ PLC, experience preferred
- Technical competence (understand software, hardware, networks, etc).
- Must have legal authority to permanently work in the U.S.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, communicate, reach and manipulate objects.
The position requires mobility.
Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc., and may infrequently require moving materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Usual office working conditions: noise level in the work area is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises.
