Reliability DA Engineer
Job Description: The position offered is developing and supporting Reliability tools/flows/techniques for custom and ASIC designs. Develops and applies computer aided design (CAD) software engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of technical problems. Assessing architecture and hardware limitations, plans technical projects in the design and development of CAD software. Defines and selects new approaches and implementation of CAD software engineering applications and design specifications and parameters. Develops routines and utility programs. Prepares design specifications, analysis and recommendations for presentation and approval. May specify materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of projects. May evaluate vendor capabilities and work with vendors to implement design rules to support Intel processes. Familiarity with vendor reliability solutions is desired.
Candidates must possess a minimum of a BSEE with at least 5 years of recent DA experience.
Additional Qualifications include:
- Demonstrate experience with analog and digital VLSI design concepts
- Demonstrate experience with design and analysis flows, particularly reliability verification.
- Demonstrate experience with signal integrity and electro migration tool flows would be preferred
- Familiarity with Apache Redhawk, Apache Totem, Apache Pathfinder is preferred
- Familiarity with BTI/HC & ESD solutions is desirable
