This position is responsible for gathering, reporting and interpreting enterprise-wide complaint data for the Discover Consumer Complaints (DCC) team. The majority of time is spent on generating standardized and ad-hoc reports, and developing or enhancing long term reporting solutions. Concentrate on collecting and analyzing data to assist the DCC team, business units and management across the enterprise in trending and managing customer complaints and implementing remediation efforts to reduce complaints and improve the customer experience. Maintain documentation of all reports.
(50%) Reporting and trending of enterprise-wide complaint data; including ad hoc reporting and inquiries as needed
(20%) Translate analytical findings into actionable remediation efforts will have a measureable impact on the business
(20%) Develop, modify, redesign, and automate reports where applicable. Assists with designing reports, displaying an aptitude for working with different technologies and software such as database and web development as well as strong conceptual and analytical skills
(10%) Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and abnormalities. Problem solve reporting and programming issues. Act as subject matter expert demonstrating strong knowledge and effective communication
