The IBM Software Services for WebSphere (ISSW) Partner Services Practice has an opening for a WebSphere consultant to provide leading edge consulting to clients and business partners.
This role is responsible for developing and delivering demonstrated consulting skills and enablement/mentoring services to both clients and business partners, as well as to capture/build experiences that can be reused within the larger ISSW community. Hands-on consulting with the latest product versions is critical to ensuring that the enablement of the broader business partner community is leading edge. The consultant will interact with the Worldwide WebSphere Business Partner Team, other ISSW Practices, Industry Solutions teams, Development and Architecture teams, WebSphere Education and WebSphere Product Management as appropriate.
This role requires travel up to 75% of the time to deliver Consulting to Clients and Business Partners. While most of the travel will be in North America, the consultant may have opportunities to travel to other geographies.
Candidates for this position will have a background in software architecture and development, experience in Business Process Management (BPM) and/or Decision Management (DM) technologies, designing and building applications deployed with BPM Standard and/or Advanced Editions, Operational Decision Management (ODM), and/or any of the IBM Business Process Management products. Experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring to clients, business partners and peers will be very important, as well as oral/written communication skills, presentation skills and consulting skills. Experience with Blueworks Live, Business Monitor, jRules, Business Events, Extreme Scale and/or the ISSW Solution Implementation Standard (ISIS) Methodology is a plus.

- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 6 months experience in Implementing BPM and/or DM Projects
- Readiness to travel 75% travel annually
- English: Fluent
- At least 6 months experience in Oral/written communication skills
- At least 6 months experience in Implementing IBM BPM Standard and/or Advanced Editions, including tooling
- At least 6 months experience in Implementing IBM ILOG Products, WebSphere Business Events or ODM, including tooling
- Spanish : Intermediate
