Position Overview and Principal Accountabilities:
This position will be located in our
office. This position will support our NE Region Sales and Production teams. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our regional business in the following areas:
Daily formulation needs of 15 production facilities from Maine to Virginia and as far west as Ohio
The transfer and management of rations from Cargill’s proprietary formulation system to the regional production facilities
Ensuring the necessary labeling of products and ensuring FDA guidelines are adhered to
Involved in pricing, margin and contract management
New product development and support as well as special projects as needed by the business
Close interaction with our sales, customer service, production, logistics and merchandising teams
Responsible for customer demands and value creation through formula audits
Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science or related field
minimum 2 years professional work experience in the Agriculture Industry
Effective communication skills (verbal, written)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and change
