The Navy Division is looking for an experienced Document
Control/Administrative Support Specialist supporting a Department of Defense
(DoD) Program Office. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide administrative and security support
to senior DoD program managers and excecutives.Responsible for classified
document control for two program offices.
Extensive filing and filing system management. Maintain project records. Process Program
Office security related correspondence (e.g. formal letters, memos,
instructions, reports, etc.) in accordance with policies and procedures. Interface
between the Program Office and various stakeholders, including resource
sponsors, technical/design agents (field activities, R&D agencies, test
facilities, vendors), and Program Executive Officer (PEO) staffs. Assist with development, review and
reproduction of briefing materials, reports and other project documentation to
be controlled. Provide access control of facility, including physical security
assistance, visitor access/escort control and visit certification processing. Responsible
for coordinating travel for two program offices using multiple travel
systems. This includes arranging the
travel and coordinating reimbursement from different travel accounts. Expect some travel related to this position,
both local and out-of-area.
ssociates Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting,
Information Technology or related field. Four (4) or more years of experience
in support of a DoD program office. Excellent communication skills (written and
oral), able to effectively interact with customers, partners, and associates at
all levels. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment in support of
numerous projects with a demanding workload.
Provide rapid responses to short-fused tasking. High proficiency with MS
Office Suite, web-based applications and databases.
Current active TOP SECRET Clearance Required
Skills/Education/Experience: Familiarity with DoD and U.S. Navy organizations and functional
missions. Completion of various DAU
and/or DSS coursework. Proficient with the Integrated Security Management
District of Columbia-Washington
