SUMMARY : The Employment Coordinator is responsible for the employment function and the recruitment of all employees. They post all open positions to approved recruiting sources (local newspapers, job search engines, Taleo, etc.).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works closely with Departmental Management regarding open positions, including verifying background checks, then proceeds with the hiring process.
Makes employment offers to applicants.
Schedules mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
Receives notes and logs background and drug test results, handles and maintains monthly files.
Tracks all employee requisitions and employee transfers.
Handles all requests for job positions, including billing.
Backs up HR Representatives as necessary.
Identifies new recruitment sources and keep in contact with existing ones.
Assists with new hire orientation
Other related tasks as necessary.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma .
Three or more years of relevant human resources experience .Recruiting experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any. This position will require Key Licensing in most states.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of Infinium a plus. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
