Global Recruiting (GR) is a talent acquisition organization which provides recruiting services to many of the Johnson & Johnson Operating Companies. Our structure features a recruiting model which concentrates primarily on candidate selection, proactively identifying and attracting key talent for our open & pipeline positions across the enterprise. The Recruiting Manager - Diversity plays a critical role in creating a competitive advantage for the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.
The Recruiting Manager (Diversity) will lead the strategy development and delivery of an integrated and relevant solution to help build US diversity strategies to support the businesses. In this role the Recruiting Manager (Diversity) will partner closely with Recruiting Leaders, the Office of Diversity, BBHR, Business leaders, Employee Resource Groups, and external partners to advance the recruiting diversity strategy of our operating companies and Johnson & Johnson as a whole.
Leadership and Collaboration: This role will be responsible for shaping the diversity strategy and providing insight and guidance to the Sourcing team on building diverse partnerships with internal stakeholders and external partners. Partner with business leaders to understand the hiring needs for both current and future needs. Build enterprise strategies in support of current business requirements and future needs. Provide research/information to help increase awareness on Diversity related topics to build expertise and focus research in the area of industry best practices and solutions. Support key partners with engaging external organizations, conferences, and events that strategically align to talent attraction and engagement strategies.
Comprehensive strategy: Utilize strong market expertise to identify trends and leverage knowledge, data and competitive intelligence to develop customized/ robust sourcing strategies that are creative and innovative. Execute against sourcing strategy and asses the productivity and results of various sourcing channels.
Sourcing/ Social Media: The desired individual will be responsible for creating and executing external diversity sourcing strategies, based on current and future business needs. The Recruiting Manager (Diversity) will collaborate with the entire Recruitment Management team to develop/deploy strategies to increase our access to a diverse pool of talent through the use of direct networking, vendor relationships, career fairs participation, recruitment advertising, and web 2.0 strategies.
The manager will create a strategy to build and manage talent communities to increase candidate engagement rates. Capture and leverage key intelligence though talent communities to generate leads, networks and pipelines of high qualified talent.
Insights and Analytics: This person will be responsible for leading the data collection for the organization and developing quarterly updates, reports, and metrics to readjust strategy. This person must be able to work independently to analyze the data into meaningful insights and help adjust the group's strategies and plans. The Recruiting Manager will become the main person to report on recruiting activity and engage with other company stakeholders on our progress.
He/ she will work closely with the EEO office to ensure compliance and service as a resource for data audits and operating company requests.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree required; Master's or comparable advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience working in Diversity & Inclusion and/or Human Resources or related field required. Proven experience in HR or Diversity strategy development required. Proven consulting and/or change management experience with an HR or Diversity & Inclusion focus required. Prior management and proven leadership within a recruiting or other HR function are required. Extensive experience, preferably 5+ years, in applying talent acquisition principles, theories and concepts is preferred. Prior experience in the management of a recruiting function or experience with recruiting leadership as a major responsibility preferred. Demonstrated understanding of staffing standard operating procedures, guidelines and legal requirements as they apply to compliance in employment practices and applicant tracking is required. This role will require approximately 25-30% travel.
