Leads the organization in the transformation of key international finance processes to increase value and leverage for efficiency by directing in-country finance teams in the identification of financial processes; conducting market assessments; identifying gaps in processes; collaborating with peers and cross functional teams to understand gaps in systems and the impact of potential solutions on global finance teams; and developing strategies and solutions to automate and drive efficiencies.
Drives the implementation of process improvement strategies and initiatives by obtaining executive buy-in; developing long-range process improvement objectives; ensuring the appropriate resources are in place; directing communications with in-country finance teams and resources to ensure international markets are prepared for process improvements; and developing metrics to measure process improvements.
Ensures process improvements follow compliance with accounting and control rules and regulations by collaborating with in-country finance teams to understand key organization risks; and staying current on international accounting and finance governance and regulations.
Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.
Cultivates an environment where Associates respect and adhere to Company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the open door policy.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Business or Finance/Accounting
- 4-6 years of experience in Audit or Corporate Reporting
- Process improvement
- Ability to travel internationally to and from multiple facilities or work-sites requiring extended overnight stays.
- Ability to travel domestically to and from multiple facilities or work-sites requiring consecutive overnight stays.
- Controllership experience
- PMP or Six Sigma experience
