The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, capital investment analysis, certain treasury functions and financial decision support & analysis. This position provides financial oversight, leadership and support to all departments across the Company. Develop and update the annual budget and five year plan. Update forecasts throughout the year, including importation of budget data into the ERP system. Produce monthly budget to actual MD&A style reports and analyzes variances within the time schedule of the Accounting month-end close process. Review budget variances and recommend action plans. Investigate variances in the budgets and reports findings and recommendations to management. Analyze operating expenses and makes recommendations for cost savings opportunities. Assist the CFO in articulating the business model to management, the Board and financial institutions. Review the cash position of the Company; plan for maintenance of adequate funds through preparation of the weekly cash and other financial forecasts to meet outstanding and planned commitments. Manage debt compliance reporting.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred 7+ years combined finance experience, with significant experience in financial analysis and a working accounting concepts, practices, and procedures Cash management and cash forecasting skills Excellent verbal, written and board-level presentation skills; communication of business plans, strategies, financial results and action plans Previous experience working for a private equity held company preferred.
