Manage and execute deployments between all environments including coordination of production releases with operations. Create and maintain tools for software deployment automation. Backup for software continuous integration and build automation when necessary. Requirements: Bachelor degree in IT, CS, or related technical discipline Knowledge of agile SDLC, software configuration management practices, release management methodologies and production deployment.
5+ years experience as a release engineer for J2EE based applications Expert with Subversion branching and merging. Expert with Maven. Experience with continuous integration systems (Hudson preferred) and post build steps. .
Strong scripting skills such as Perl Excellent communication skills, energetic and fast learner.
