ROBOT SYSTEMS INSTRUCTOROverview➢ All applicants must have a working knowledge of robotic systems from Fanuc, ABB, Kuka and Comau. Applicants will be working for a leading automotive manufacturer in a team-oriented environment and will be responsible for teaching maintenance personnel start-up, shut down, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for manufacturing plant robot systems. Applicants will also provide problem resolution and process improvement consultative services as required. Applicants must enjoy working with people and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES•Support plant floor activities (Launch Support, Fast Response, Quality Consulting, etc.)•Develop technical training programs and course materials•Deliver technical training programs in a lecture/demonstration format•Deliver Structured on the Job training in a production environment•Work closely with customer Skilled Trades teams.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS•Associates Degree in applied science, a Bachelors of Science (preferred)•Five + years experience in Manufacturing Technology or applicable experience•Technical writing skills•Fanuc Robot Programming Operations and Electrical Troubleshooting•ABB S4C+ and IRC5 Robot Programming Operations and Electrical Troubleshooting•Material Handling Robot applications•Wiring Diagram Reading.❖ Frequent travel to manufacturing facilities throughout the U.S. and Canada is compulsory. Limited international travel (Europe, Mexico) may be required. Physical requirements of the job include walking and standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting and moving equipment trainers weighing up to 60 lbs.
