Key Responsabilities:
The Global Supply Chain Principal Project Analyst will lead Supply Chain Projects for new product launches, new geographical launches (order to cash) and Supply Chain improvement projects through working with the Regulatory, Marketing, Operations, Sales and the Geography specific team members. Responsible for planning, executing and monitoring the launches and providing input into the geographical regulatory configuration strategy.
Lead cross functional teams through the supply chain launch process for product launches, geographical launches and order to cash setups.
Build project schedules, identify project risks/contingency/mitigation, create phase in/phase out plans and provide “build at risk” cost/benefit analysis with recommendations.
Execute the project schedule for launches and ensure timely shipment of the launch product to the geography.
Prepare and present monthly updates on supply chain launches as part of the SIOP meetings.
Collaborate with site specific supply chain teams on obsolescence of components/finished goods that are being replaced as part of launches to minimize obsolescence costs.
Ensure success of launches through monitoring the performance of launches using the operational launch scorecard and working with launch team to resolve issues (product availability, delivery performance, production to plan, forecast accuracy, etc…) impacting launch success.
Develop a partnership of the Supply Chain Team with manufacturing and geographies to maximize efficiencies for information flow across functions to ensure flow of product supply.
Analyze impact of configuration alignment and potential delays to implementation of a particular configuration in other geographies to realign configurations.
Lead the demand planning and inventory strategy in collaboration with the marketing and geographical teams to set the demand forecast and inventory levels for launch.
Participate in Regulatory geographical submission strategy process.
Provide weekly updates on launches for AFS Leadership team
Support goals to meet or exceed annual objectives performance, cost savings and inventory goals.
Facilitate meetings with the regulatory and marketing teams to build a high level plan across product portfolio and geographic regions for configuration planning and program level view of product and geographical launch projects.
Identify opportunities to improve the supply chain launch process to reduce the time from regulatory approval to the time product is in the physician’s hands.

Qualifications:
B.Eng/BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, Operations and/or Management or related field.
Supply Chain certification, Lean Sigma certification (an asset)
2-8 years related experience in project management and/or product launches
2-8 years related experience in supply chain and/or operations management
Total 5 to 10 years’ experience in supply chain/operations and project management combined
Proficiency with MS Project software
PMP certification (an asset)
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of MRP
Experience with advanced planning systems (SAP APO an asset)
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
Specific vision abilities include: close vision, distance vision, color vision.
Analytical skills for compiling and analyzing information.
Ability to travel up to 20%
Proven ability to apply situational leadership concepts across various intra and inter-departmental matters.
