Analysis of accounts receivable and cash collections in the North American Delivery business. Position will provide analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting support to senior management and the collections team. The analyst is responsible for communicating results and drivers as well as highlighting areas of opportunity and weakness with a focus on improving operations and increasing the added value of Shared Services
Drive financial & operational efficiency in the accounts receivable area through analytic support of operations system.
Provide accurate intelligence, produce actionable recommendations, engage partners and help resolve issues.
Identify any discrepancies in quality measures and customer satisfaction.
Responsible for the data integrity for operations systems. Ensuring correct system set up and managing upkeep of system and manager profiles.
Partner with the collections teams in Columbia, SC and Broomfield, CO to provide timely, accurate and meaningful reporting and analysis.
Update and maintain operational dashboards and balanced scorecards and assist in driving process improvement projects within Shared Services.
Support Staples accounts receivable across all lines of business in North America.
Take ownership of the forecasting and budgeting for accounts receivable and cash collections.
Leverage a variety of business intelligence tools and databases to develop new analyses and reports.
Determine new ways to automate and streamline reporting and measure the effectiveness of operations.
Support the collections team and senior management through adhoc analysis and project management.
Maintain relationships with business units and other support teams.
Attend staff meetings when appropriate.
Minimum 2 years' related work experience.
Proficiency in financial reconciliation and analysis.
Strong customer service “consultant” skills with proven ability to multi-task with a deep understanding of the business.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Self starter with the ability to prioritize to ensure deadlines are met.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to actively engage and partner with various Shared Services leadership team members to drive results and provide needed analysis.
Proficiency in Excel and Access.
Working knowledge of Oracle Financials, Cognos, Apollo or other ERP platform a plus.
