The Systems Administrator LINUX/UNIX is responsible for evaluating proposed management changes and provide solutions to improve the quality of the change package and/or its likelihood of successful deployment.

Position is located in Seaside, CA.

Developing the configuration management plans for the various footprints. Working withthe area SMEs to exploit the system enhancements across the operating platforms and supporting infrastructure.

Meeting with the Window, Linux and Unix teams to understand new and changed requirements and providing reporting and status updates to the team leads.

Required

High School Diploma/GED

At least 5 years experience in x86 platform.

At least 3 years experience in ITIL configuration management process and systems lifecycle management

At least 4 years experience in Window XP through Window 7

At least 2 years experience in Linux/Unix configuration processes.

U.S. citizenship required

English: Basic knowledge

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree

At least 8 years experience in x86 platform.

At least 4 years experience in ITIL configuration management process and systems lifecycle management

At least 5 years experience in Window XP through Window 7

At least 3 years experience in Linux/Unix configuration processes.

At least 3 years experience in DBMS configuration management.

At least 3 years experience in interaction with the Team leads and the client in understanding requirements and in recommending more effective approaches to maintaining the environment.

Security clearance of Secret - Active

English : Intermediate
