This position will perform repair or modification design, engineering analysis and substantiation, and develop appropriate technical documents, such as repair approvals, drawings, reports, and specifications. Position will provide support to intercompany airlines. In addition you will coordinate and support manufacturing activities and those in other internal departments (Avionics/Electrical, Systems/Powerplants or Structures). Additionally you will also provide the necessary documentation in support of certification and outside customer activities.
What you need:
BS Degree in Engineering, or related field & 8 years of relevant experience or AS Degree in Engineering, or related field & 10 years of relevant experience
Experience working/interfacing with the FAA (or designee) on engineering-related projects.
Working knowledge or Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project
Working knowledge or AutoCAD or similar desktop drafting application
Must maintain working knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations 14CFR Parts, 21, 23, 25, 26, 43, 91, 121, 135, 145, etc.
Must maintain and exhibit awareness regarding implications and required compliance criteria of Airworthiness Directive, Service Bulletin, and other FAA & OEM documentation
Preferred Job Skills:
MBA or Advanced Degree in area of specialization
