Straub is a complete health care system, which means the primary care physicians, specialist physicians, clinics and hospital staff are all part of the same organization. Straub cares for and comforts patients throughout the state at both the hospital and clinic locations. Straub offers a network of neighborhood clinics on Oahu, Lanai, and visiting specialists on the Big Isalnd as well as the services of nearly 200 physician specialists.

The Patient Service Representative acts as a liaison between patients and the professional staff by facilitating clerical and reception responsibilities and assisting in administrative tasks. Interviews, registers, admits, updates, and creates patients’ medical records. Performs accurate, complete, and timely processing of all professional / technical fees generated by department providers. Performs cash handling and collection duties.

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Basic computer skills. One year of clerical support in a healthcare setting or related experience. Preferred: Basic medical terminology. Experience with EPIC. ICD-9 and CPT coding certification. Associate’s degree in business administration or related field. Urology experience. MS Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc…) experience.
