Supports efforts to improve nursing performance and outcomes under the direction of the Director of Nursing Outcomes Improvement and in collaboration with the Nursing Outcomes Improvement Facilitators. Promotes the advancement of nursing practice through role modeling of professional practice. Operationalizes duties and responsibilities in a manner that supports the recruitment and retention goals of the Nursing Division.
Specifications: Knowledge, Training, Work Experiences and Physical Effort:
Current licensure as an RN in the State of Illinois.
Holds Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
Minimum four years' recent experience as a staff nurse in acute care.
Minimum of two years of demonstrated participation in nursing quality improvement work.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate pattern of continuing professional development especially related to nursing quality improvement.
Obtains nursing certification in area of clinical specialty within one year of accepting the position.
