World Vision US is seeking a seasoned, highly motivated and forward thinking corporate trainer and field manager for the Face-to-Face department to join a vibrant team of marketing professionals. In this exciting role you will develop training curriculum that will be used by temporary and permanent staff who are working on face-to-face marketing initiatives across the country, like mall kiosks and at other locations. You will work closely with established third-party staffing vendors to train, equip and support professional fundraisers on the World Vision brand and encourage their participation to change the world through child sponsorship or other established products in the retail environment. You will travel and monitor the staff and the activities in the mall environment to ensure we are effectively telling the World Vision story and acquiring donors.

Responsibilities Include: You will be in charge of equipping and training a dynamic group of fundraisers on how to acquire World Vision donors in a face-to-face, direct selling environment, initially in shopping malls. Using interactive displays fundraisers stop, engage and inspire consumers to sponsor a child or donate to a World Vision program in a dynamic retail environment. As a part of this new exciting initiative you will be on the ground floor of developing temporary field staff, creating and delivering training, motivating and coaching staff, and observing selling techniques to develop high performing fund raisers. You must enjoy developing people, training, creating sales experiences for consumers that are personal and out-of the box. You will be monitoring staff and results to ensure optimal performance and you will be traveling domestically to work with staff. You will use your professional skills to help children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice--helping carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.

Responsibilities include:
Keep Christ central in our individual and corporate lives. Attend and participate in the leadership of devotions, weekly Chapel services, and regular prayer.

Develop and lead training activities for mall kiosk contract fundraisers throughout the US.

Motivate contract staff and grow revenue through the mall kiosk channel, evaluating and recommending changes to the program as appropriate.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive training program to ensure mall kiosk field readiness. Partner with internal teams to select appropriate training resources and delivery methods.

Present training information on and off site using a variety of instructional techniques, including role-playing, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures.

Collaborate with staffing vendors to develop the selling techniques of fundraising teams, and on operations, fundraising growth, quality control, and maintaining the reputation of World Vision.

Visit kiosk sites to ensure successful consumer experience through site selection, training collateral, and operational readiness of kiosks.

Evaluate reporting from vendors and recommend strategies for increased channel quality and revenue.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as part of a team.

Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.

Required Skills

Required Experience

Two-year technical or junior college degree or equivalent work experience (four years).

Work experience in professional training, preferably in sales or fundraising, 4 years.

Strong interpersonal & presentation skills

Professional training experience (sales or fundraising training a plus!)

Market field readiness experience a plus

Proven ability to develop, motivate and see the strengths of people and train them to be effective fund raisers/sales people

History of sales helpful, but not required

Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time

Team player but self-starter with strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently
