Clinics - PS (Staff) - Spanning across the St. Paul area, HealthEast Clinics allow for the capability and diversity to offer a full range of services for patients of all ages. Services include, family and internal medicine, pediatrics, Osteoporosis Care, Endocrinology, Podiatry, Geriatric Care, Certified Nurse Midwifery, and Osteopathic Care. The staff comprised of board certified physicians, nurse practitioners, midwives, nurses, certified medical assistants, lab and x-ray technicians as well as other staff members are dedicated to providing the high quality compassionate care that makes the HealthEast Clinics the East Metro’s primary care network.

Primary Function & Major Responsibilities Provides program and administrative support to Hospital Medicine Service at all 3 sites (St. Johns, Joes, and Woodwinds). Collaborates and supports business unit leadership and daily operations through coordinating production schedules; maintaining department calendar and scheduling meetings; maintaining records and monthly meeting minutes. Maintains departmental files, correlates departmental bills, orders supplies and other duties and tasks as assigned.Coordinates and distributes daily program census lists. Answers and directs phone calls for the Hospital Medicine Service program.Facilitates identification and confirmation of patient demographics. Coordinates fax and file requests for information including, but not limited to, death certificates, O2, orthodics, pharmacy, etc.Serves as a liaison between leadership, clients, patients, vendors, etc.Maintains calendars for Medical Director, group meetings, interviews, onboarding and updates applicable databases.Coordinates, prepares, attends, and documents information from department meetings.Coordinates clinician on-boarding and departure processes.Works collaboratively with appropriate personnel in addressing the needs and concerns of customers.Maintains and coordinates time records.
Associates degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field required in a related field . Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of two years of progressively responsible administrative and program support experience required. Additional education may besubstituted for up to one year of experience. Previous related experience in a health care setting preferred.Special Knowledge,
