Cargill Marshall, MO is looking to fill a position of

EHS Coordinator

at its Case Ready facility in Marshall, MO. This position will report directly to the EHS Manager.

Principle Accountabilities Include

Develop skills and assist EHS Manager in the management of environmental, health, and safety issues, including employee training, inspections, and audits, safe work permits, EHS projects, agency communication and corporate reporting.

Inspect facilities for compliance and coordinate necessary follow up.

Interpret government safety and environmental regulations so standard operating procedures and policies can be implemented that meet government and company requirements.

Accountable for regulatory agency and internal reporting, project management, business unit environmental projects and community environmental activities.

Establish improvement strategies for both short and long term goals.

Participate on a plant management team by providing technical leadership and support to Cargill on EHS issues.

Work with a diverse group of cross-functional areas such as safety and environmental, maintenance, contractors, and operations.

Communicate with people with diverse language ability, educational levels, and experience.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required:
Education: Person must be currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Fire Safety, or related field. Persons may be required to provide proof of such educational enrollment.

Two Years EHS experience

Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.

Capable of building collaborative working relationships.

Willingness to relocate.

Basic Computer skills

Preferred:
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in field of Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Fire Safety, or related field

Fluency in English and Spanish

Knowledge of processing facilities.

Previous experience in field of ergonomics
