The Department of Economics (http://www.clarku.edu/departments/econ) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in economic development beginning in Fall 2013. The candidate should be interested in and capable of teaching graduate (doctoral) and undergraduate courses in development economics and related economic and interdisciplinary fields as well as core courses of the undergraduate Economics curriculum. Excellence in teaching is required. We encourage applications from candidates whose research involves empirical aspects of development. Appointment as an assistant professor requires completion of the Ph.D. in economics or a related field prior to August 31, 2013.
