The Assistant QC Manager will be responsible for scheduling engineering technicians as well as compiling and reviewing daily field reports generated by the technicians. The Assistant QC Manager will also manage the collection, processing and review of compaction tests and geotechnical instrumentation (i.e. piezometers, slope inclinometers, and settlement plates) data along with other contractor submittals. The Assistant QC Manager must be familiar with the project specifications and procedures, and will be a field representative of the design engineer.

Qualifications:

The Assistant QC Manager should be experienced with word processing and spreadsheet programs on a personal computer. This individual should be prepared to work outdoors in both cold and hot weather conditions, and be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. The Assistant QC Manager will be expected to effectively interface on a regular basis with engineers, engineering technicians, construction superintendents, construction operators, and field representatives from various regulatory agencies.
