We're looking to add highly skilled individuals to our Engineering Service Team on a national basis. The Sr. Engineer provides high-level technical support for both internal and external clients in virtual hosted solutions, voice and data network systems. |
Support customers, on site and remotely to include troubleshooting, maintenance, optimization, and implementing best practices.
Design and deploy network and/or voice configurations, system architecture, and integration of technologies.
Assist users to diagnose and solve network, data, telecommunications and cloud issues.
Identify areas of operation that need upgraded equipment such as modems, fiber optic cables, and telephone wires.
Monitor system performance and provide security measures, troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
Test and evaluate hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing system, and make purchase recommendations.
Experience configuring large scale data networks and complex telecom systems is required.
Should have 8-10 years of experience working knowledge in PBX and network switches, routers and hubs. May consider less with certifications.
Must be well skilled in advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, switches, hubs as well as server administration, virtualization with either Citrix or VMWare, and wireless solutions.
CCNP, CCVP, CCIE or similar certifications a plus, must be open to all vendor technologies and obtaining new certifications.
CS/MIS or similar degree preferred, but not required.
Must have a customer focused attitude, and can work well with all levels of staff, internal and customers.
This position requires excellent problem solving abilities and a high level of communication.
Must have a strong desire to learn a variety of technical systems and dive into new technologies.
Degree preferred, certifications a strong desire. IT project management helpful.
