The Department of General Services offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified candidate to join the eVA Bureau in the State's Division of Purchases and Supply (DPS).

Position provides setup and general support for the rollout and maintenance of W-9 records and 1099 data for eVA suppliers. Duties will include collection, review, validation, and updating of supplier W-9 records. Entry of 1099 data from W-9 forms. This position will review, verify, and update supplier accounts. Employee will provide high-quality and timely support to customers and those whose inquiries or requests are received from eVA Customer Care. Position will also serve as the division's point of contact for processing eVA W-9 information requests that support the eVA vendor community and process and publish W-9 reports and web lists for timely use by agencies as necessary. Some level of user problem resolution support will be required.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree, and/or equivalent experience, that directly relates to working with automated systems and business processes. Strong knowledge of business concepts, filing and office procedures. Strong data entry skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Access tables, and running queries and macros. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Strong working knowledge of Internet functionality. Able to perform math computations accurately. Ability to function independently and manage/perform a variety of competing tasks simultaneously. Strong and demonstrated interpersonal and team building skills.
