Provide technical support for the development of HD Radio? products to Japanese tier-1 manufacturers. Major areas of responsibility are:
Communicate technical requirements for digital radio product design to infotainment engineering groups at OEM and tier-1 manufacturers
Manage technical program schedule and track development issues
Coordinate product development requirements and questions with HD Radio development community
Document application notes and implementation guidelines
Coordinate lab and field testing for OEM products
Advise automotive community on product integration into the vehicle
Travel (about 6 -- 10 weeks per year) to Asia, Europe and throughout theUS.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Degree in technical or related engineering fields
Fluency in English and Japanese (written and verbal). Ability to communicate technical concepts in both languages.
5 -7 years experience with automotive infotainment product design and development
1 -3 years experience with testing and automotive integration procedures
Knowledge of digital communications or digital radio applications
Experience providing technical support or technical consultation is a plus.
RF design experience or HMI software experience also a plus.
