Training Specialist/Multimedia/Instructional Design Internship Elekta -

This is an open ended contract position. Hours are flexible, but interns must be able to work at least 20 hours per week. The eLearning Internship’s role is to help deliver training to end users via Web-based educational models and corresponding software tools. The eLearning Specialist will also participate in the design, construction, and implementation of corporate intranets, eLearning applications, and courseware that support business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, course materials, exercises, and skills assessments using storyboards created by SME's.
Upgrade existing courses, apply company template and bring to latest version of the given software.
Upload courses to Learning Management System (LMS) to test and validate.
Help troubleshoot communication problems between software applications LMS.
Assess, recommend, courseware packages, and support implementation and development of appropriate courseware tools.
Document how to use corporate eLearning template, where applicable, and in general eLearning development tools.
Qualifications: Required Qualifications:
Able to work independently
Must have coursework in an e-learning and/or instructional design related discipline
E-learning development experience is required (academic experience is acceptable)
Experienced with an elearning authoring tool is required, preferably Captivate 5.x
Knowledgeable in finding and solving error messages and problems in eLearning courses caused by authoring tools
Familiar with using and modifying eLearning templates
Experienced in Articulate and QuizMaker
Able to take storyboards from SME and create courses
Posses technical writing skills
Preferred:
Knowledge of Camtasia
Ability to run Q/A testing on courses
Candidates will be required to provide work samples in the application process.
