Onsite Health Specialist

OptumHealth is seeking to hire an Onsite Health Specialist located in Hartsville, SC . We are in search of a dedicated, qualified professional with exceptional interpersonal skills, health management and project management skills. This individual will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing onsite support to build a Culture of Health for our client in the consumer packaging industry.

As the Onsite Health Specialist , you will ultimately be responsible for program execution and success, including promoting programs, engaging consumers, scheduling appointments, tracking participation, and evaluating onsite program satisfaction over time. You will be trained on OptumHealth tools, products and services to ensure thorough understanding of all purchased services from OptumHealth.

The strength of the Onsite Health Specialist lies in their ability to motivate and engage members to enroll in OptumHealth programs. This position serves as the face of OptumHealth to our client and their employees. Duties and Responsibilities:
Foster a culture of health and wellness through education, awareness, and engagement in respective health management programs.

Deliver promotional programs, health events, health challenges, screenings, educational seminars and personal health assessments.

Integrate into the client’s environment by building rapport and establishing trust with client (Human Resource professionals, General Managers, front line employee, vendor partners).

Interact on a regular basis with the clients support structure, Operational Management and Engagement team, OptumHealth Wellness Consultant, OptumHealth SAE, National Account SAE and client Account Manager.

Lead wellness teams across all of the client’s locations.

Engage consumers to drive awareness and enrollment into our clinical and wellness programs.

Accurately document consumer interaction and follow all processes and procedures related to consumer engagement.

Track and communicate program utilization, and enrollment rates through the appropriate channels.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelors degree from an accredited university

Minimum of three years experience in a corporate health and/or wellness environment

Strong PC computing experience (Microsoft office and web based tools)

Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) or other related health certification; any certification and/or licensure must be current and unrestricted

Proven ability to deliver health education and programming to motive and engage individuals

Self motivated, flexible individual who can flourish in an office setting with colleagues as well as in a self-structured independent setting

Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills

Proven ability to communicate health and behavior change information to non-health personnel

Empathize, motivate, and encourage people towards healthy change, regardless of culture, religion, economic background

Work and interact with professionals as part of an interdisciplinary and virtual team

Ability to effectively use multiple technology systems to identify and enroll consumers and review client data
