This position requires an adaptable mix of skills and capabilities. As a candidate you should have demonstrated success in administrative support roles along with strong office management skills, organizational skills, and computer skills.
As the Executive Assistant you will report to the Director and provide broad administrative support to the Director including answering phones, greeting people who come in to the chamber, maintain calendars and schedules, manage and maintain social networking tools and website, manage the office supplies, and participate in the planing and working of events outside the office. You’ll be responsible for filing, organizing and implementing/maintaining office systems. In addition, you will participate in the coordination and execution of projects and events, as needed. This is a part time position and the Executive Assistant is expected to work Monday-Friday from 10 am -2pm, some nights and weekends might be required for special events. Salary based on experience and ranges from $14,000-$18,000/year. Must be bondable.
Experience and skills required:
3+ years experience in an administrative support or related professional position with demonstrated success—preferably at an executive level
Superior multi-tasking abilities with a keen attention to detail and commitment to follow through
Adept written communication with the ability to proofread and edit documents and project deliverables
The Ability to participate in the coordination and execution of events as needed
Proficient computer skills in Constant Contact, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher and Excel
Social Media experience, including Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin
Website management skills
